¡Quedar bien! pero ¿Con quién?

¿y por qué cuando hay música alegre nadie baila?
¿y por qué cuando hay música triste nadie llora?
¿todavía sentimos?

Hace unos días, uno de mis amigos cercanos perdió a su abuelita, se le hizo primavera igual que mi madre, se nos hicieron primavera. Este año se ha llevado a seres maravillosos transformándoles en eternas primaveras. Mientras estaba sentado en una banca durante la misa (años de no poner atención al mensaje de un sacerdote) sintiendo una tristeza profunda y recordando lo doloroso que es despedirte de alguien a quien nunca querías decirle adiós; fui permitiéndome escuchar poco a poco con atención lo que desde el altar el padre con voz tranquila leía:

Porque vino Juan, que ni comía ni bebía, y dicen: “Tiene un demonio”. Vino el Hijo del hombre, que come y bebe, y dicen: “Ahí tenéis a un comilón y borracho, amigo de publicanos y pecadores”.
Mateo 11, 16-19

Ese fragmento de la lectura me quedó presente, me hizo sentir y pensar. De pronto, el sacerdote siempre con voz calmada se echó su speech, y entre todo lo que dijo, esto fue lo que me impactó: “al final, no importa lo que una persona haga, de todas maneras, no se va a quedar bien con nadie. Casi siempre las demás personas son las que crean la reputación de las otras, para bien o para mal…” y entonces sentí sus palabras como dos gotitas de “eye mo” para bajar lo irritado de los ojos, ¿saben?

ver al hunapú, entre formas y texturas… cada quien ve lo que ve, y siente lo que siente.

El punto es, que a veces uno llega a lugares que de pronto no estaban en el plan y de alguna manera, han dejado de ser frecuentes porque nos recuerdan a personas que ya no están, y en esos lugares misteriosamente surgen algunas palabras de aliento y fuerza que vienen de un completo extraño que sin miedo a que sean bien o mal recibidas, las expresa y son compartidas.

Creo que mejor que disfrutemos más y mejor lo que hacemos, aún más si lo hacemos con pasión, dedicación y esfuerzo, porque si lo hacemos así, a las únicas personas que debe importarle y con quienes debemos quedar siempre bien, es con nosotros mismos… al final, hagamos lo que hagamos, nunca vamos a quedar bien con nadie.

Empecemos entonces a agradarnos más, a tratarnos mejor y perdonarnos, a ser más tiernos y felices con nosotros mismos. A hacer lo que tengamos que hacer, por y para nosotros mismos.
